An inviting showroom for retail and performances, PianoWerkes unveils the splendor of the musical instruments in a daylit, open floorplan.

To achieve a flexible space for both retail and performances, the design of the primary showroom emphasizes a clean color palette, carefully angled walls to keep lines of sight clear, and a range of specialty areas to meet program requirements.

A wet bar for catering events, a pop of color to reflect the company branding, ample natural light, and acoustic treatments are central to the design.

In addition to the primary showroom, PianoWerkes consists of a large back-of-house that features a secondary showroom, restrooms, break area, repair space, and large-roll up doors for piano deliveries, including uprights and concert grade grand pianos.

A small room called the “glass box” houses a high-end baby grand piano for private showings, demonstrations, and client discussions.

The classic design amplifies PianoWerkes’ reputation as the premier destination in New Mexico for classic pianos, frequented by local artists and music educators alike.
