Renovations bring Mountain Elementary School into the 21st century to create a comfortable, updated learning environment for young students.
New enclosed corridors unify the campus, connecting the pre-K and Kindergarten wing to the rest of the school with light-filled pathways.
The new enclosures protect students from the elements as they move from class to class in a protected, safe environment.
Corridors are constructed of a structured polycarbonate panel assembly, so diffused natural light can fully penetrate the space.
At night, corridors glow from within to add security and visibility to the reinvigorated campus.
Renovations also include HVAC system replacements with individualized classroom controls, a fire suppression system, re-roofing, new electrical panels, restroom upgrades, new gymnasium flooring, and new LED lighting.
Secure, inviting, and bright, the design improvements integrate the existing and new into a comfortable, unified environment.
