The Recovery Support Center offers high-quality meeting, office, fitness, and food service support spaces for both Endorphin Power Company (EPC) residents and the local community.

The design of the Recovery Support Center commenced with a long-term phasing and planning effort. The goal was to reconfigure the full campus and renovate existing buildings.

The multi-year phasing plan of the active, urban campus supports EPC—a non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe and clean transitional housing for individuals facing homelessness due to substance abuse.

This approach enables EPC to expand their services to the community and foster a healthier environment for their current residents.

Taking the initial steps to bring the long-term vision to life, the Recovery Support Center creates an environment that transcends a generic or sterile feel and instead exudes a sense of warmth and comfort—a place that invites people in and fosters healing.

Guided by principles of sustainability, flexibility, and community engagement, the design features an outdoor gathering space.

Within its compact yet innovative form, the outdoor space seamlessly combines a multitude of functions and complements the interior programs of the Recovery Support Center.

In the pursuit of creating a transformative space that fosters healing, the Recovery Support Center offers a warm and inviting environment.
